ResNet Africa: Collaboration on tools for quality research
Sharing their extensive research experience at the Education International’s Research Network (ResNet) Africa, held from17-19 November in Accra, Ghana, researchers and top education unionists from all over the continent brought their knowledge and skills, ranging from academics well versed in the methodology of research to unionists well versed in the art of activism.
“The knowledge of the many outweighed the knowledge of the few, and the researchers were hungry for more networking, so that they could continue to learn from the excellent work going on around Africa,” said EI representative Martin Henry.
Many were familiar with using research, but not enough delegates were producing research, he noted, adding that assistance from colleagues would help them to overcome this block.
